Please join us for this special night at Beatnik on Thur. August 16th

Wayne Jiang creates stunning works of narrative realism that combine elements of contemporary design and documentary photography with the finest qualities of traditional painting.  His scenes are reminiscent of 20th Century realist painters - depicting moments in life that are timeless - though rendered in rich, warm colors that bring to mind the luminosity of Old Masters paintings.

Born in Guangzhou China, Wayne came to the United Staes at age 15 and went on to earn a degree in illustration from San Jose State. He lives in Pacifica and paints full-time in his studio in San Francisco.  Jiang also teaches painting technique, plays music,  and is working on his first documentary film about dulcimers.

I love Wayne's work. I can't wait to see his latest paintings and see him at your gallery.
